The previously existing court buildings did not meet modern standards for courthouse planning; physical and electronic security; separation of public, private, and secure circulation; and handicapped accessibility. In addition, the non-adjacency and separation of services among the Family, Matrimonial, and County Court buildings were very inefficient.
The final product will allow for a much greater utilization of space and functional efficiency. The final solution prepares for the future needs of the county’s judicial system, including appropriate parking.
